W+ Standard Setting Procedures
The W+ Standard Setting Procedures follow the ISEAL Standard Setting Code to ensure the standard development process is inclusive, transparent, and effective.
The W+ Standard
The W+ Standard establishes the “normative” requirements for implementing a W+ Project. The W+ Program, Standard and the six W+ Domains and criteria have been developed through a consultative process with stakeholders. This included women’s groups and men within community development projects in Asia and Africa, as well as subject matter specialists in gender/women’s empowerment ,carbon project development and certification systems.
The W+ Program Guide
The W+ Program Guide presents information intended to guide and support Project Developers in meeting the requirements for submitting required PIN, PDD, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting, and Validation/Verification documentation to WOCAN for W + project certification.

The W+ Tool for Monitoring, Reporting and Verification of Financial Payments
This tool is to be used in conjunction with every W+ method as the transfer of financial resources to primary beneficiaries is a mandatory design element of the W+ Standard (here also referred to as the “Direct Share”)

Document Templates

The W+ Monitoring and Evaluation Report Template
This is the monitoring and evaluation report template for projects seeking W+ certification. Use of this template ensures consistency and facilitates efficient review of project outcomes.
The W+ Method Form Template
The template is for Project/method proponents to provide the specified information in sufficient detail so that the Method may be validated and used by others.  
The W+ Verification Report Template
This template is for W+ accredited verifiers to submit their report to WOCAN for the verification of W+ projects that are pursuing W+ certification. 
The W+ Project Idea Note (PIN) Template
This template is for the development of W+ projects. The key elements of the W+ PIN are: W+ Standard Project Identification, Applicant Details, Location of W+ Project, General W+ Project Information and W+ Project Organization.  
The W+ Project Design Document (PDD) Template
Instructions for completing the project description template are given under the section headings in this template. This template must be completed in accordance with the W+ Standard, Program Guide, and any other relevant guidance documents, and the preparer will need to refer to these program documents in order to complete the template.

The W+ Advisory Council TOR
The Advisory Council members are invited to participate on a volunteer basis. Their role is non-governing, non-adjudicatory, and non-supervisorial.
W+ Terms of Reference
These Terms of Reference for the W+ Standard and Program describe the motivation behind, the justification for, and the measurable objectives the W+ Standard seeks to achieve.  
W+ Complaints, Disputes and Appeals Process
A complaints resolution mechanism for the impartial handling of procedural complaints is in place.
