IEU GCF – WOCAN webinar: How the scaling of voluntary carbon markets can amplify gender equality impacts

March is Women’s History Month, and this month’s Independent Evaluation Unit (IEU) Virtual Talk was dedicated to the theme of gender in climate change. Dr. Jeannette Gurung from WOCAN made a case for jointly addressing climate and gender equality and presented the W+ Standard methodology. Ms. Seblewongel Deneke Negussie from the GCF served as a discussant and spoke about the GCF’s policies and tools designed to mainstream gender in climate projects. Watch the video here
