About the Guest
Neera Van der Geest graduated in Environmental Development Economics from the Agricultural University in Wageningen. She has worked across the private sector (engineering), public sector (Dutch government), and international NGOs, always at the intersection of economic development, poverty alleviation, and environmental protection.
Since 2008, she has served as CEO of ICCO’s FairClimateFund, which has invested nearly €7 million in projects across India, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Peru. The carbon credits from these projects are traded to corporates implementing CSR policies on climate.
