About the Guest
Barun Gurung is an anthropologist specializing in ecological anthropology, with over 15 years of global experienceworking with ethnic communities in the Himalayan region and across Asia.
He has led a global program for the CGIAR Group, pioneering an approach to organizational change for gender equality and social inclusion within traditionally male-dominated agriculture and natural resource management organizations in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Barun has also trained and mentored men and women from over 30 organizations in developing countries on gender mainstreaming and reframing leadership.
