Women Leading Regenerative Change in Brazil’s Cerrado
Developing agricultural production combined with the preservation of the environment

The Story: Women Leading Regenerative Change in Brazil’s Cerrado
ERA’s Pollen Program works in Brazil’s Cerrado biome—one of the world’s richest yet most threatened ecosystems. By channeling carbon revenues into women’s empowerment, the program combines forest protection with gender equality. Women gain access to training, agroforestry systems, and leadership opportunities—ensuring climate finance directly builds stronger, more resilient communities.
