What We Did

Restored livelihoods & strengthened resilience:

  • Implemented the Women-led Climate Resilient Farming model (1-acre farming), supporting women to cultivate indigenous food crops organically and diversify livelihoods.
  • Enabled women to apply climate-smart agricultural practices, improve soil health, pest management, and increase crop productivity.

Built leadership & local governance capacity:

  • Trained women to participate in decision-making at household and community levels, including Gram Sabha meetings.
  • Supported women to mentor peers and mobilize other women into income-generating activities.

Prepared for scale:

  • Encouraged participation in farmer producer companies (FPCs) to formalize business activities and access markets.
  • Enabled access to microfinance through self-help groups, removing barriers to income generation and asset accumulation.
