Community Led Food Forest Project (CFFP)
Restoration of Marmanet, and IgwamitiLandscapes through a sustainable food forest approach.

The Story
The CFFP is a community-driven restoration initiative that transforms degraded landscapes in Marmanet and Igwamiti into sustainable food forests. Centered on women’s leadership, the project creates income opportunities through nursery enterprises, paid restoration work, and agroforestry training.
Women play a key role in planning, seedling production, and land restoration, while gaining greater control over resources, strengthening their technical skills, and taking on leadership roles within their communities.
The project contributes to improved livelihoods, stronger local ecosystems, and more inclusive land governance, while generating standalone W+ credits focused on Income & Assets and Leadership.
